Lunch at OBBS
Posted by Amanda @ The Hungry Wanderers on November 3, 2009
This is the last of the catch-up restaurant posts! We hope to catch up on the posts from our Christmas 2008 vacation to Europe soon! I promise 🙂
Back in early September, we went to the Outer Banks with a bunch of friends. One night we went to our favorite Outer Banks restaurant – the Outer Banks Brewing Station. We love it so much that the next day we returned with one of my best friends (and her boyfriend) who coincidentally was in the area at the same time 🙂
We started with an order of the fried okra. Okra has to be one of the best things I’ve been introduced to (food-wise) since moving to the south (right next to pimento cheese dip – Yum!). This did not disappoint!
For our entrees, I went with the carolina pork bbq sandwich with hush puppies and beans. As with their other items, this was great.
The Husband ordered the bratwurst with sauerkraut and a small beer sampler…
I’m glad we were able to get two visits in to the OBBS while in town 🙂 Both meals were great and lended to fun experiences with good friends!
